Jury Duty

Juries are selected the same day as the trial. If you have been called for jury duty(in our court), please call 554-0711 after 5:00 pm the night before you are to report. Select option #4 on the telephone tree, a recording will tell you if you need to report the next morning. If you need to report, you must be checked in by 9:30 a.m. Jurors are summoned for two or three days. A summons is mailed out approximately one month prior to the first jury trial date. When the summons period is over jury duty is complete for twelve months-with our thanks.

If you are scheduled for jury duty and cannot appear, you must have the permission of the court to be excused and/or have the dates changed.
