Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001 there has been an increased focus on homeland security and emergency preparedness. Kentwood citizens have asked us how they can best prepare for potential threats. Generally, our advice is that you prepare just as you would for severe weather (heavy snow, tornado, power outage) or other emergencies (fire, chemical emergency). Have adequate supplies on hand and a family preparedness plan in place.
