COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
November 9, 2009

6:30 P.M.

Present: Commissioners: Mayor Pro-Tem Richard Clanton, Sharon R. Brinks, Michael W. Brown, Frank Cummings, and Mayor Richard L. Root. Also present: Deputy Administrator Rich Houtteman, City Clerk Dan Kasunic, City Engineer/Project Manager Steve Kepley, GR Press Julie Makarewicz, Police Chief Richard Mattice, Assistant Finance Director/ Purchasing Agent Phil Tietz, and Public Works Director Ron Woods.

LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE.
Project Manager Kepley reviewed the Library project in three parts, outside materials, inside adjacency issues and philosophy of the project. He reviewed the construction status and the time of the move the KDL would most like it to happen. He noted this move will most likely result in the library being closed for two to three weeks. Commissioner Clanton inquired of sponsoring an EDC room within the new Library and if that was possible and Commissioner Brinks inquired about the ITP bus route.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:26 P.M
