Minutes for 10/04/2011

Present: Commissioners: Chairperson Sharon R. Brinks, Frank Cummings, and Mayor Richard L. Root. Also present: Commissioners: Ray VerWys, Deputy City Clerk Mary Bremer, Information Systems Manager Bill Dudgeon, Fire Chief Brent Looman, Police Chief Richard Mattice, Assistant Finance Director Lorna Nenciarini, Community Development Director Terry Schweitzer, Fire Department Administrative Assistant Nancy Shane and Public Works Director Ron Woods.

1. COPIER REPLACEMENTS.
Motion by Cummings, seconded by Root, to recommend to the City Commission to authorize the purchase of two multi-function copiers in a total amount not to exceed $21,644.00 from Ikon Office Solutions with funds from the FY 2011-2012 Property and Building and Police Equipment Fund budgets.

Motion Carried.

2. AT&T WEB FILTERING.
Motion by Cummings, seconded by Root, to recommend to the City Commission to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with AT&T for web filtering services at a total three year amount not to exceed $15,100.00 with current year funding from the network upgrade allocation in the FY 2011-2012 Property & Building, Police Equipment and Fire Equipment Fund budgets. Future years will be funded from the General Fund – Information Services budget, subject to City Commission adoption of future budgets.
Motion Carried.
