Kentwood Engineering Department

The City Engineer is responsible for engineering review of all City projects and developments, including drainage, public utilities, flood plains, sewer and water in streets, storm water control, sidewalks and public ways.
The Engineering Department provides assistance and information in the following areas:

• Schedule of street improvements and reconstruction
• ADA Sidewalk Replacement
• Storm sewer problems
• Construction of public utilities
• Pollution of streams/bank erosion
• Report water pollution
• Sidewalk repairs
• Utility locations and plans
• Right-of-Way Permits
