Holiday Shopping
Safety Tips

Try to do your shopping during daylight hours.  If you are out after dark, park in parking lots that are well-lit.

Keep your car doors locked and place any packagesout of sight in the trunk.

Carry debit or credit cards instead of cash.  If you carry cash, carry it in your front pockets.

Dress casually and comfortably. Avoid wearing expensive jewelry.

Teach your young children what to do if they get separated from you.  Have them look for a store employee, security guard or police officer.

Try to shop in groups or at least let someone know where you are going and when you are expecting to return.
