Kentwood Senior Chorale
Spring Community Concert
"A Musical Homecoming!"

A celebration of love and life through music!  The Kentwood Senior Chorale is proud to present this beautiful community concert that will truly inspire, enrich, entertain, and thrill the audience.  The Chorale's director, Bob Azkoul, is celebrating 21 years with the Kentwood Senior Chorale!  The Kentwood Senior Chorale is a mixed chorus of 45 music lovers who enjoy practicing and presenting accomplished programs of popular, sacred, and patriotic music.  The Chorale performs from September to May for local nursing homes, senior centers, schools, and service organizations.  Please join us for this FREE community concert.  A free will offering will be taken.  The public is welcome!

Summer Concert Series

All ages are welcome to spend a relaxing Summer Evening enjoying the City of Kentwood's exciting FREE Summer Concert Series!  You will be sure to enjoy our family-friendly music groups and environment!  Lawn seating available.  Please bring your own chair and blanket.  Held rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, please call our office at (616) 656-5270, our weather line at (616) 656-5280 after 4:00pm the day fo the concert for the most up-to-date information or check our Facebook page!  If the weather does not cooperate, the concerts will be moved inside to the Kentwood Library Community Room.  You are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the concerts.  Please check out our Facebook page for updates on bands or call the Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department. 
*On June 17, join us for the Kentwood Palooza before the concert.  Details at the Library.

Diaper Drive

The May Diaper Drive collected 702 Diapers!  Thank you!  We still need your help to make sure infants and toddlers in Kent County aren't going without one of their most basic needs, diapers!
Drop off diapers (any size) at the Kentwood Fire Department (4775 Walma)
or the Kentwood Parks & Recreation Department (355-48th St) on the above collection days.

The Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department and Rotary International of Kentwood are hosting their annual "Kentwood Scholarship Fund Golf Outing" at it's new location, Scott Lake Country Club. Sign up as an individual or as a team.  Additional sponsorship opportunities are also available.  Proceeds will benefit the Kentwood Rotary's East Kentwood High School student scholarship fund and the Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department's youth recreation programs.
